Crushing medical bills put improviser's future in doubt…time for Sallypalooza!

My former theater company, pH Productions, is holding a fundraising event to benefit Company member Sally Anderson. Last year, Sally suffered a stroke followed by an avalanche of medical bills. This year she suffered a relapse of some symptoms and incurred even more medical bills. She has no insurance as a dog walker/actor and has been using her rent money to pay off bills. Now she is in danger of being evicted and pH is trying to help her. They’ve set a goal of raising $3,300 to help keep Sally here in Chicago and get her back on her feet financially.
This Friday, June 12 at Stage Left Theatre, pH is having a benefit show with some of Sally’s favorite people:
Sally with Jonathan Pitts (CIF Co-Founder) and Jill Bernard! (Twin Cities Improv)!
Sally with TJ Jagodowski (CIF’s Improviser of the Year, iO, Second City)
Sally with pH’s pHamily the Musical
Sally with BASSPROV (Mark Sutton and Joe Bill)
Tickets are $20 for each slot, or $30 both. Your donation goes directly to Sally, pH is not keeping any of it. Also included in your donation is food and drink and an entry into our raffle. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased at the event.

If you can’t make it to the event, pH has set up a site for online donations (which they promise is secure): http://secure.whatisph.com/sally/
Rarely do you have an opportunity to have such a direct and personal impact on a person’s life. Join me in supporting pH’s efforts to come to the aid of a great Chicago improviser who deserves to keep doing what she does so well!
